Microchipped

Hey everyone! Im offically microchipped, as of yesterday, yay! I got it done at a Recycled Arts festival at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver.

At first I was really scared cause the needle was HUGE! But my auntie held me while my mom took photos (thanks mom..) and the real nice lady with the needle did it and it only took a couple of seconds but ouchie man...

Heres me when it was done, I was sure glad it was done! Sure you can pet me, I like you! Despite the fact you shoved a HUGE ASS NEEDLE in my NECK!

oh well at least if I ever get separeted from my family hopefully someone will know where to find me with this thing in me. AND PHEW! It sure is HOT. Holy cow-doggies, I have no idea what to think of all this darn heat. All I know is that its making me super-uncomfortable! So I made mom got me a new toy and some Pegetables (that were on sale cause they had a hole in them, SCORE!) to make up for it hehe.

Oh, theres suppose to be thunderstorms here in the next couple of days, woo-hoo! Means extra time in my moms bed getting extra cuddles hehe... and Im also competing in the paw-limpics for roaching and sleeping!! Who else is competing?

Till next time!

puppy breath & lively licks,

Being microchipped is very painful! I still can remember the sound of it when the needle was being poked through my skin. The doctor had to poke very hard! But glads it was done fast. I like Pegetables!

Gosh I don't remember being microchipped cause it was years ago and I was only a pup. It's good to be done though.
Hope the weather cools down for you Gaia.

Hugs and tail wags

I was never microchipped but Mitch was! Now you'll be forever safe, Gaia! We love Pegetables but we don't often find them where we live!

Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch

Gaia Girl!

WHOA! You were a brave Airegirl getting that STINKIN' BIG needle in the neck! At least your microchipped now. Glad you got some love for all of your pain.

I've been catching up on your blog, and I'm glad to see that you're feeling better and looking fine. Your mama's business sounds like a FAB idea. If she needs any taste testers, just let me know. I would happily sacrifice myself on the altar of doggie consumerism.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

I think she should name the treats "Gaia Grub" with the tag line "Airedale tested & approved!"

OUCH, Gaia. I felt that yucky needle all the way over here. Your poor little face looks so pained. Ok, it's over. Now on to the Pegetables.YUMEROO.

It's a good thing they gave you treats to make up for that awful needle! None of us are microchipped because our vet charges lots for it! When you multiply "lots" times 3, it's a "whole" lot! We really need to have it done because none of us wear any ID on our collars. Mom can't stand to hear the jingling. Those Pegetables look pawsome. We've never found them around here.

My sweet Gaia...the needle looked huge from here! Yikes! I don't remember getting mine. I too got mine when I was just a babe. Had to have it before I left the breeders.
